November was the month of exhibiting for us, we were showcasing Mythical Matchmaker at 2 different events. A massive thanks to the Southampton Arts and Humanities festival, as well as Venture Fest South 2024 for inviting us. We had loads of fun showing off our game, and we met lots of friendly faces interested in what we are doing, so a massive thanks to anyone who came down to see our stalls!
We love coming out for exhibits as it gives us a chance to get direct feedback from all of you. So if we get the chance to do more, you can bet we will be there! Another massive thanks to all involved, and to Drawn Out Dev for being amazing co-exhibitors.
We finally have some progress to report! As a result of the dev streams mentioned last month, progress is being made on Mythical Matchmaker. The current focus is adding some more minigames that never made it into the demo build, but there's lots more progress to come! We have also recently put a demo build of the game on steam, which comes with some more great news!
We are proud to announce that at the time of writing this, Mythical Matchmaker has reached 121 total wish-lists on steam! And the new demo build has over 700 downloads! We all still can't believe our silly little Uni demo turned indie game has reached these numbers. A big thanks is in order to anyone who has wish-listed on Steam or downloaded our demo. It makes our day seeing people enjoy our work and we can't begin to thank everyone enough.
With all this exciting news and progress; what is next for the game and for us? Of course, the answer to that is still up in the air. As we now get closer to Christmas, everything gets a lot busier, especially as we spend more time with families and friends. So most likely there won't be any major news until the new year. But who knows!
We hope you have enjoyed this month's recap devlog, it's been great to see so many of you this past month, and we are really thankful for all the support, may you all have happy holidays this coming month!
Stay tuned next month for more updates, lots of festive cheer,
- The NEW Cubed team
